Fasting simply brings the spirit man into ascendance over the flesh. Fasting was to be a vital part of our Christians walk. We not only need to pray, meditate, and study God’s Word, but we should also employ the discipline of fasting. It is a powerful weapon from God, that helps bring transformation, revelation, deliverance, and breakthroughs.
A New Satisfaction
When you finish your fast, renewed, full of energy, detoxed, with a new desire, a new praise and a sensitivity to God’s voice, you’ll find that the absence of food was small in comparison to what you gained. When Christ’s disciples noticed that He hadn’t eaten all day and tried to get Him to slow down to eat, Christ said, “I have food to eat that you know nothing about….My food is to do the will of Him who sent me and to finish His work.”

So today was the 1st day after leaving the hospital that I was finally able to speak to one of the nurses from the surgeon’s office. If you remember that last week I was in severe pain and the meds didn’t seem to be working.
We’ll come to find out i never received the pain medicine from the pharmacy, I asked the nurse if the medication I had was all I could take because the pain was really hard when she verified the medication my husband picked up from the pharmacy and the was so upset because I didn’t have any pain medicine, she said the hospital should have given me some on my way home…
Though the vision tarries wait for it. Do not be dismayed or discouraged for God sees your tears and your pain. BUT his grace is sufficient for you. You are his warrior. Never forget who you are and who is on your side. You are a fighter. Although you may take some blows, the fight is already won. After doing all you can do stand and fight anyhow. Remember what our God has already done in our lives. Erect an alter in that place. A place of remembrance for what God has done and a hope for what he will do. God loves you. Lift up your head and fight on!
I thank God for restoring my mind during this fast. What does a man profit if he gains the whole world and looses his soul. Without the peace of God everything else is but dung. Thank you God for restoring my mind. Thank you God for being merciful and establishing a reset through your grace. You are eternal and nothing catches you of guard because in the beginning you were. So I rest in you today!
During this fast God has truly shown me who he is. Revelations has unveiled who God is and God has also unveiled who I really am. It is like I know God in a different way. He's always been Jehovah Jirah but during this fast He's shown me to be my provider. He's been Jehovah Rapha but 3 times during this fast He's shown me to be my healer because He healed me. He Has shown me that He is Elohim, He's protected me 2 times from extenuating circumstances during this fast. GOD IS SO GOOD AND HE IS SO AMAZING!
Whatever you might have thought would count you out of receiving the promises of God .… based on your own shortcomings & brokenness know that God stopped by at ANWM to pour out His Spirit and infuse us with His TRUTH that we are Overcomers of lies, doubt, defeat, and any trick of the enemy… as we allowed the Prince of Peace to take us on a Peacekeeping Mission today.
Whatever battle you were fighting or you are fighting right now …. The Word of God reminded us to FORGIVE our neighbors, our family and church members - and ourselves.
God is fortifying the walls of His church in the process …as we repent and start worshipping Him in Spirit…
